Sheraton Centre Mall is one of Barbados's busiest shopping centres.
For this project 40,000 square feet of mall space was added in 8 months and
involved expert coordination to merge pre-cast floor and roof slabs with in-situ
concrete columns and beams.
The extensive use of gypsum internal partition walls and gypsum ceilings are
main features of this project.
At Sheraton centre Mall, Rotherley Construction Inc. also carried out extensive
repair work to the existing structure, heavily damaged by fire in 2004, whilst
the mall was still in operation.
ESSCO Building
This project involved construction of a new location for one of the islands'
largest air condition companies.
Situated in one of Barbados busiest industrial areas the building also included
retail space to house other businesses.
The construction of this 35,000 square feet complex incorporates structural
steel frame works encased in structural concrete, the uses of omnia floor
systems, and included a complete internal fit-out.
